During the year an Arrow of Light Cub Scout goes on a journey to complete a number of fun adventures that will earn them pins. This printable will help you keep track of what a scout has earned and when they have officially received their award.

What Are The Arrow of Light Cub Scout Pins?

A Pin is an award that is given to a Webelos or Arrow of Light once they have completed all of the activities in a Required or Elective Adventure (ex. Paddle Craft). The earned pins are attached to an item called Adventure Colors. Adventure Colors are attached to the right sleeve below the American flag.

What Are The Arrow of Light Badge Requirements?

The Arrow of Light Rank is earned by fifth graders. For Arrow of Light Scouts to earn their Rank Badge during the year they will have to complete the following requirements:

Complete the 6 Required Core Adventures.
Complete 2 of the Elective Adventures.

Where Does The Arrow of Light Rank Badge Go?

The Arrow of Light Rank Badge is placed below the left pocket of the cub scout uniform as shown below.

How To Earn The Cub Scout Shooting Sports Award?

With the June 2024 update for Cub Scouts they have completely revamped how they award the shooting sports. Each rank can now earn a belt loop or pin instead of a badge.
